Arabic and Hebrew font rendering in Deepin (Debian) became monospaced everywhere

0

This issue came out of nowhere several days after my installation of Deepin. It is present in every single software I use, from browsers to text editors.
I tried updating the system after the issue and it didn't help.
Another weird thing I noticed is that the mouse moves slower on areas containing these monospaced fonts.
This problem happened to me before on Kubuntu in a past installation on the same machine.
I have an nVidia GPU and the proprietary drivers are installed and are working properly (tested no screen tearing, etc.)
Demonstration of Arabic and Hebrew font issue

What could be the issue? Any terminal commands to look for?
