CentOS not recognizing Rackspace verbiage for saving iptables

I'm getting back into the Linux game and have installed CentOS server and am stalled with saving the iptables for Apache operation.
The Rackspace guide tells me how to use the service command to save the iptables but my version of CentOS doesn't agree with the task.
Here is my system info, my command, and its response.
[mmaxfield@localhost ~]$ uname -rv
3.10.0-957.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Nov 8 23:39:32 UTC 2018
[mmaxfield@localhost ~]$ sudo service iptables save
The service command supports only basic LSB actions (start, stop, restart, try-restart, reload, force-reload, status). For other actions, please try to use systemctl.
