Find Nagios host configuration and remove it from monitoring
Please help me to achieve the following-
I have lots of nagios configuration files in a directory like below and have requirement to remove a host from monitoring.
What normally I do to remove a host from monitoring-
1. Find the host configuration file-
root@XXXXX:/home/rakesh/host_decom# grep -irow nmo hosts*
hosts-automotive.cfg:nmo
- Comment the configuration lines
vim hosts-automotive.cfg
- Save the file, and the task has been completed.
So please help me to do so with a script, I mean automatically.
