Pfsense: Drop connected client using a script or terminal command

0

I have 2 virtual machines, one running Pfsense + Freeradius and the other one running Debian + mysql(freeRadius database). I was able to activate user login with a captive portal and Radius authentication. Now I need a way to Allow or Block a certain user connection to the internet. I know i can do it using the pfsense webConfigurator but i need a way to automate this using a script or a shell command.

Something like:

if certain condition is true then drop user connection.

  • I am afraid that this is again a far too broad question, and more it so with you not documenting what you have already configured on the pfsense side. I can also sense a lack of understanding what (free)Radius is for. Again, I advise the goal of this group is not writing full tutorials, but answer specific questions. Please see our FAQ. PS Radius is for the AAA part, you should not be defining users in the PfSense side. PPS whilst trivial to deploy a PfSense machine, it is not so simple configuring properly services and putting together all the related pieces of the puzzle on it.

  • If what condition is true? Do we get to pick the condition?
