Script that runs on both terminal and GUI on kali-linux

I want to develop a GUI alike UNISCAN with terminal below, and it must work like a normal script in the terminal also. In fact, I need to build an app where the user gives data(URL) and it must open terminal and perform tasks. Where do I start with?
