Using regex to extract a value from syslog-ng logs

1

I'm trying to sync files from our clients to our server using syslog-ng. The client can have multiple devices connected to it, and each device logs separately

On the server, the destination of the logs is of the form

/mnt/abc/client_logs/<client_name/<device_name>/<process_name>/<file_name>

I'm able to use $HOST to get the client name and $PROGRAM to get the process name. However, I need to get the values of device_name, process_name, and file_name from the client itself.

What would be the best way to get these values from the client? Especially the file name?

I'm trying to set the process name to something like

<device_name>_<process_name>_<file_name>

and extract these values using regex
