Is it possible to verify node's revocation status from CRL file without having node's certificate?
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ margin-bottom:0;
}
I am working on scenarios where a node may not have the certificate of another node to which it intends to send data. At the same time, the intended receiver may also have been revoked, and the PKI communication system may have communicated the CRL with entry of that node.
Question: Is it possible to check revocation status of a node, given CRL and the node's canonical name, and without the node's certificate ?
CRL seems to maintain serial numbers of revoked nodes, and serial numbers map to canonical names only with the certificate.
