can't move dropbox to ext4 on mint

0

I am running linux mint and keep getting the "Your Dropbox folder is on a file system that is no longer supported." The requirements state that the folder must be on an ext4 partition. On my current system, I don't have any of those. So, I went and bought a thumbdrive with the idea of sticking it on the back of my machine and forgetting about it. After some difficulty, I got the file system changed to ext4. But dropbox still refuses to move to there. I have seen other people note that on windows dropbox will move to removable media. Is there something I am missing here?
