Change only certain text in a file recursive based on filename
I have a folder of over 1,000 games folders. All of the game folders have a .bin and a .cue file. Most of these were renamed, so the .cue doesn't point to the .bin file correctly. The first line of every .cue file is:
FILE "the-game-title.bin" BINARY
I am looking for a way to rename "the-game-title.bin" to match the cue's filename + .bin recursively so it would be:
FILE "the-game-title.bin" BINARY > FILE "cue-filename.bin" BINARY
How can I accomplish this?
bash
