Command `startlxqt` causes en error `QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display`

0

I want my Desktop Environment lxqt to start by typing out the startlxqt command in console. I do not want to start it automatically.

The history is that I installed Debian Stretch without a Desktop Environment. It worked well. Then I installed the lxqt Desktop Environment. It worked well too.

Then I tried to get rid of automatic switching to a Desktop Environment during a boot time. So I typed out a command # systemctl set-default multi-user.target. After that the Desktop Environment stopped to open atomatically, but the $ startlsqt command did not work. The error was QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display.
How to fix it and get the Desktop Environment starting manually from console?
