MediaWiki doesn't recognize SSL certificate created with Let'sEncrypt Cpanel bot
I use a shared CentOS server environment with Apache (with Nginx as reverse proxy), PHP and MySQL.
I've pointed DNS servers to my hosting provider and created a MediaWiki directory named as the domain of my website; I also created an SSL certificate by a Let'sEncrypt bot available in Cpanel and no errors were given in the process.
I then went to to https://example.com aiming to install MediaWiki, but then I saw the connection is unsecured:
Using server name "http://example.com".
Using server URL "http://example.com".
Seems MediaWiki doesn't recognize the SSL certificate and secure HTTP connection.
Cleaning instillation cache from the relevant button aiming to restart the (so far partial) installation process, doesn't help.
Why is the SSL certificate and the secured HTTP connection not recognized by MediaWiki?
software-installation https mediawiki
