Connect sequence to DUT

0

In OVM, am I allowed to connect direct ovm_sequence to DUT interface without go through to ovm_driver?

In normal OVM protocol, in order to apply stimulus to the DUT must go through ovm_driver. Hence, sequence will define the construction of sequence of transaction. These transaction will send by the ovm_sequencer to ovm_driver.

The normal ovm flow involves so many protocol. I want to simplify the flow by appliny stimulus direct to the DUT interface from the ovm_sequence.

Am I allowed to do that?
