Can you truncate a table and than insert data into the same table on MySQL prompt?

Is it possible to truncate a table and than insert data into the same table on a MySQL prompt?

I was able to get the following to work, where it would automatically login, and truncate a table called "orders". Can I add a LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE on top of that?

mysql -u xxxxx -pxxxxxx OD_Orders -e "TRUNCATE TABLE orders"

The reason is I would like to create a cron job that can cover this on it's own every night.
