ssh X forwarding GUI app opens on remote
I am running Zotero over SSH as follows:
[abhishek@brixpro ~]$ ssh -Y optiplex
[abhishek@optiplex ~]$ ~/Zotero_linux-x86_64/zotero
The Zotero window opens on the local machine (brixpro). However, when I click a PDF file in Zotero in the Zotero window, the window (PDFstudio2018) opens on the remote machine (optiplex) and not brixpro. Both optiplex and brixpro are running Manjaro Linux.
How can I get the window to open on brixpro?
The problem is not specific to Zotero and my PDF reader. In the above example, when I replace Zotero with Dolphin (KDE's file manager), and click on a text file, I get the same problem: the text file opens in optiplex, not brixpro.
ssh kde manjaro xforwarding dolphin
