How to change video driver on Linux Mint 19.1?

0

I recently upgraded my windows PC with a better video card. I thought I would be able to take my Radeon R5230 and put it in my Linux machine. Turns out that I didn't know that i was using Nvidia drivers. So when i swapped it out my cinnamon interface wouldn't show and continued to crash. i put my old card back in so I could use it the machine again, but I would want to know what the best way to get the Radeon Driver on and Nvidia driver off?
