apt-get isn't working on rolling Kali Linux
I recently installed Kali Linux from the Microsoft Store and whenever I execute the apt-get update command, I get an error message that looks like this:
Err:1 http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling InRelease
Connection failed [IP: 192.99.200.113 80]
Reading package lists... Done
W: Failed to fetch http://http.kali.org/kali/dists/kali-rolling/InRelease Connection failed [IP: 192.99.200.113 80]
W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
I've already tried the methods here and here and none of them worked. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, adding new repositories and mirrors, and nothing works.
I've also tried installing other stuff, like aircrack-ng and the same thing happens. Connection failed.
I'm guessing Kali can't even connect to the internet, or that somehow my firewall is blocking it.
Any suggestions?
