How to compare the files last modified date with the system date in linux?
I have a S3 bucket...in which files will be added daily...I have to mail the top 3 files daily which is last arrived . For that i need to compare the last modified date of the file with the system date. The mail should be sent only if the file is arrived else...fail mail should be sent....
As far now....I used ls command to list all the files...and mail is sent daily even if the file is not arrived....Please help me to compare the system date with the last modified date of the file...so that success mail should be only sent if the file is arrived..
Please help me...
Thanks in advance..
#!/bin/bash
#aws s3 ls s3://project/js/ | sort -rh | head -n 5 | awk {' print $1"t"$2"t"$4'} | mail -s "Success" "abc@gmail.com"
linux bash centos
