Tascam in Linux

0

I'm using Mint Cinnamon 18.3, and want to get my Tascam US 428 functioning properly in it. This site (http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/tascam/) says it can be done, but I'm too much of a novice to know the basics of ALSA, much less the ALSA-CVS which is mentioned, so I need step by step help, if anyone wouldn't mind. Please send your replies to dannybender1@juno.com, and I'll appreciate it.

Thanks, Danny
